Just in Case . . . . . .

. . . . . the 20 purses you have aren't enough, you simply have your daddy make you a new one, out of an ice cream box that Don and Lisa brought (full of ice cream of course) to your house. Then, you stuff it full of your most precious belongings, and carry it around with you everywhere you go. . . . even out in public, because you have a mommy who just doesn't want to deal with you or your emotional meltdowns.

The End.

Oh, that Ava! Gotta love her. You are a good sport for letting her carry that around!

Quite often I find that the moms who are just trying to prevent a meltdown, are the best moms around.
As a child, my mom would quite often try to squash my creativity. She was a failure at it, of course, but she did manage to make me feel like a bad kid because my ideas were so far off from hers.
So good for you Libbie!

There is a "green" company making similar stuff (purses, pencil pouches, etc) out of used Capri Sun bags and stuff- they are actually pretty cute, just like this purse! And I'm all for avoiding meltdowns! :)

And a few "secrets" to my success- and when I say success, I mean NOT losing it every single day from overload and exhaustion: caffeine (a HUGE vice), an extremely patient husband, and pure luck. :)

SO Funny. I'll bet every parent who sees it thinks to themselves "been there."
Maybe you should make all your Christmas presents out of card board this year.
