39.4 . . . .

Still pregnant over here. If anyone else is as annoyed as me, feel free to voice it, because I certainly do. I sat in the doctors office for approximately 4 hours yesterday to find out what I already knew . . . that apparently I have a cervix of steal! This little girl just doesn't want to budge. So sorry friends. I will be sure to keep you posted, but for now, I will just carry on being miserable, yet grateful for my sleep!

38.1 Weeks

Sorry friends . . . no baby news here. I actually went to the doctor today, and there is absolutely NOTHING going on if you know what I mean . . . . which is okay, because I have a LOT of stuff to do! So I think I will just keep myself busy, and maybe she will surprise us and come soon, but the way my body works . . . probably not! I will probably just be conveniently induced in a few weeks, as I was with my two other kids!

My new niece is doing great though. Here are some pictures of her being held so you can actually tell how small she is. She is back up to 4.3 pounds today. She still has some bouts of apnea, but is getting better. So dang cute!

My New Babies!!!

Okay, so they aren't really MINE . . . .but sort of! I have a new niece and nephew, who I am absolutely in love with.

Jeffery Allen was born to my sister Emily on February 4th at 11:46am. He is just the cutest boy, and I can't wait to meet him. He has lots of hair, (of course it is covered in these pictures). He weighed 7lbs 10 oz. This is Emily's biggest baby. Nice work Sis! Oh . . . . and I should also mention that he is her 6th!!! My hat goes off to you! Also, I think we should just change the Mitt 2008, to hopefully Mitt 2012. This little boy has the right ideas already!!!

Lailie Grace was born February 10th to my sister Bekie. She decided to come about 8 weeks early, so she was born via emergency C-Section. It was a bit scary, but she is doing well. She got to come off her ventilator today and is breathing well on her own. She will probably be in the NICU for quite a while. Bekie is doing well also. Me and Nan went to see them today and were not expecting to get to see baby Lailie, but they let us see her. You are not supposed to touch her much though. Its so hard not to scoop her up and give her lovies. Bekie will hopefully get to hold her tomorrow. She is tiny. She wieghs 4 lbs 5 oz and is 17 inches long. Love this baby! She is precious! I can't wait to see her again, and give her kisses!

And the next baby news . . . . . will be my own!

Random Part 3

I lead a pretty boring life lately, so I am just having a blast posting all the random things that go on in my life

No baby news yet . . . still three weeks to go. Hopefully I can get her out way sooner than that. I did manage to successfully pack on 6 pounds in one week though . . . something to be proud of.

Edyn is really into comparing herself to others lately . . . something that really worries me, at this ripe old age of 4. (Any tips on combating this would be appreciated. Of course I always tell her how beautiful she is, that she is my precious baby, that everyone has differences, etc.) Is this normal though?

So Damon and Edyn have brown eyes, and Ava and I have blue eyes. The other day, she said to me, "Mom, I really hope Lila (that is our new baby) comes out with brown eyes, because I am REALLY tired of all the blue eyed people around here."

Gotta love this sassy girl.
