Our Newest Addition

I always swear I won't do things. For example . . . . I have SWORN I would NEVER, EVER, EVER drive a van. This was just unacceptable to me. Not that driving a van is a bad thing, but I seriously just thought that it wasn't for me. You see, I needed to feel cool and young in my gas guzzling lemon of an SUV. Well, Big Daddy just traded in that gas guzzling lemon of an SUV and purchased me . . . . . you guessed it . . . . A shiny new Red Town and Country Mini Van.

AND I AM IN LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Seriously . . . . Who knew? (I do have to say that I swore to this before I had three kids, so I am not to be held AS accountable for my pride). . . . . . . And let me tell you, I look DEAD SEXY getting my three kids in and out of that beautiful machine sporting my "just had a baby muffin top" and undone hair and make up. Oh the joys of being humbled!

When we got our van, I tried in vain to get the Honda Pilot instead. There was no way that I was going to be a minivan dad. But alas, we got the van, and it has been a wise decision. Welcome to the club of proud van owners.

He he.. the Town and Country or the other new van with the swivel seats is the only van I will think about driving (what I told Nick.)

Glad you are a proud owner of the new van! Congrats on it!

Oh, the days when we could fit in a minivan...I loved my minivan, but I love my suburban even more. It could have something to do with the fact that we have to fit 5 carseats in it. Its pretty!

I want to be sexy like Libbie! I want a van! My van days are coming - we will be forced into one once James gets too big for his infant seat.
You are so humble Miss Libbie. Congrats.

Nothing is sexier than not having to climb over seats and wrestle with kids to get them buckled. We got the van after ansen and I will never go back! I just love, love, love mine too.
(sidenote: I will NEVER drive a astro van though.....I would rather walk to zion then drive in a astro van...that screams mormon mom)

I hear you! I don't/didn't want to be one of those van drivers either but I think that is what we are going to get too! My friends swear that they are the greatest things though!!! Enjoy! It looks nice!

I am still holding on to the mama in an SUV... but, it is a Volvo... people make fun of that!

Ah the simple pleasures of motherhood. I really love the automatic doors in our van. I'm always so conflicted with the twenty year old version of me that would rather die then drive one and the now thirty year old version that loves the sliding doors so that the kids aren't dinging the other cars and the carpool kids can get in an out so easily. Welcome to the club!

I love that we have TWIN VANS! Only mine is champaign and your's is red. I love the red. The look won't be complete, however, until Ava & Lila learn how to get out of their carseat while in transit. Yep, mine do and it makes a much funner show for all the cars around me!!

I hear ya!!!! I couldn't imagine the day I would be a mini van person.....but it came! I love it!! Life is easy with doors that automatically open and close and movie players. My favorite thing about our van is that when we are in a parking lot I don't have to worry about the girls swinging the car door open into the car next to us. What a brilliant idea sliding doors are :)
Congrats..I am sure you look steamy hot in your van!

COngrats on the mini- van- perhaps the best decision you will make as a parent. I LOVE my Sienna. It's not great to look at, but let's be real- so functional.
